IGBC Green Factory rating System is a voluntary and consensus based programme developed by IGBC to facilitate the development of energy conscious, water conscious, healthy, more productive and environmentally friendly factories.

Compliance Criteria
Obtaining “IGBC Green Factory” certification requires compliance with a minimum number of criteria for each performance area mentioned above. Each compliance criteria contain a number of specific points that allow a factory’s environmental performance to be evaluated. Project earns points for criteria that they fulfill; those that earn more points are awarded a higher level of certification.
